Courington & Burnside Win Fall Shootout
Jack Courington and Grant Burnside
followed their 10-under par 1st
Round,on Crestview's North Course,
with a 2nd round of 8-under par 63
on Crestview's South Course. The
pair finished at 18-under for the
tournament and one shot in front of
defending champions Charlie
Stevens and Mike Holloway.
This may have been the strongest
Fall Shootout (Jamboree) field that
the WGA has seen.

Whitaker Wins the 75th City Match Play
Asher Whitaker won the 2020 City
Match Play in a 1up victory over
John Loomis. Whitaker, a Freshman
at Kapaun Mt Carmel, is one of the
Match Play's youngest champions.
This is Whitaker's 1st WGA title and
could be a sign of many more to
come.

Harrison Middleton Wins City Junior
Harrison Middleton wins the 2020 City
Junior Championship. Middleton started
the 2nd round with a 4 shot lead after
shooting a 70 in round one. He finished
with a strong 72 to close the tournament
at even par.
Tommy O'Conner took 2nd place with a
total score of 150 and Drayton Cleaver
took 3rd at 153.

thank you all participants!

Sokolosky Wins City Medal Play
Zach Sokolosky takes 1st in the City
Medal Play with rounds of 68-70 to
finish at -6 for the tournament. First
round leader Elliot Soyez followed his
65 with a final round 76. Soyez made
a few costly errors on holes #4 and
#7, playing them 6 over par.
Jack Courington made a late charge
with birdies on his final 4 holes, but it
wasn't enough to catch Sokolosky.

Senior & Super Senior Tournament
Kevin Belknap wins his 1st Senior
Championship by 2 shots with rounds
of 69 and 74. Belknap led after the first
round by two over Randy Vautravers.
Close behind with rounds of even par
72 were were Mike Holloway and Eric
Mork.
On a tough final round with winds
reaching 20-25mph throughout the
round, Belknap held off Holloway and
Vautravers with a 2nd round 74 and a
two day total of 143.
Bill Quattlebaum and Duane
Creekmore tied for 1st in the Super
Senior Division.

Howell & May Win City Fourball
Jonathan May and Craig Howell claim
their 2nd City Fourball title. May and
Howell opened with a round of 65 at
Crestview South and closed with
a 6 under 66 at Crestview North. The
team of Charlie Stevens and Mike
Holloway were right behind them with
rounds of 65 and 67. Round 1 leaders
and 6-time champions, Tracy
Chamberlin and Steve Newman, shot
a blistering 63 in the opening round.
They fell of the pace late in the final
round to shoot 72.

Rothwell & Alefs win Senior Fourball
John Alefs and Joe Rothwell won their
1st Senior Fourball title with rounds of
68-69. They held off second place
chasers, Mike Caster and Robert
Donovan who shot 68-71.
