Reynolds & Owens win City Fourball

 

Kale Reynolds and Zac Owens held

on to a 1 shot victory over Jeff Bell

and Elliot Soyez for the 2021 City

Fourball title. The day started with

Reynolds and Owens holding a 1 shot

lead over the teams of Bell & Soyez

and Craig Howell & Jon May. Bell

and Soyez took the lead early in the

back nine. However, thanks to four

straight birdies on holes 10, 11, 12,

and 13, Reynolds and Owens hung

onto a 1 shot victory.

1st Flight - Bryce Rowe & Derrick Ashe

2nd Flight - Clint Chamberlin & Clark McDonald

3rd Flight - Eddie Fahnestock & Scot Pennington

Schaar & Cusick win Senior City Fourball 

 

John Schaar and Nick Cusick won their first Senior City Fourball by 3 shots over AJ Jenkins and Ray

Brundige. Both teams entered the

day at 7 under for the tournament.

Schaar & Cusick held a 1 shot lead

entering the par 3 16th. Jenkins,

Brundige, and Cusick all hit shots

close inside 15 feet for birdie, but

Schaar nearly aced the hole by

leaving his shot 4 inches away.

Schaar and Cusick birdied the par 5

17th as well to open the lead to 3

shots. Defending champions Joe

Rothewell and John Alefs finished

in 3rd place.

Cooper Schultz wins 2021 City Match Play

Cooper Schultz defeated Jeff Bell 3&2 in the City Match Play Final. Schultz beat Pete Krsnich 2&1 in the semifinal and Bell beat Eric Johnsen 1up in the other semifinal match.
